Meet The Team
Karen
Karen started teaching shortly after having her first child; at the time Karen was a primary school teacher in Carlisle and took to teaching babies and toddlers part-time on a weekend.
Through the years the classes have grown on the back of Karen's hard work and commitment to every aspect of the business which she now concentrates on full-time having given up teaching.
Faye
Faye has been part of the Baby and Toddler Swimmers family since 2012. She first came with her little boy and continued a few years later with her daughter. Faye started working in admin in 2016 and has been an absolute lifesaver. Faye is calm, trustworthy, professional and VERY organised.
Faye previously was a bank manager and since having children has trained to be a teaching assistant. She has worked in a number of schools and is always very well respected.
Faye completed the Baby and Toddler Swimming certificate in 2021 and is now teaching swimming lessons with the team.
Sarah
Sarah first came across us when she brought her daughter to classes - she is now an exceptional swimmer regularly competing for Carlisle Aquatics.
Sarah decided to train to be a swimming teacher when her son was having lessons with us and has been a fabulous member of the team. She has a calm approach and both parents and children love her.
Sophie
Sophie brought her daughter to our classes as a baby and whilst on maternity leave and wanting a change of career, jumped when she saw a position advertised.
With no teaching background Sophie has worked tirelessly to learn the programme and complete the baby and toddler course. Sophie has proved to be a wonderful teacher and has worked hard to build relationships with all the children in her classes.
Carlie
Carlie began working with us in 2024, taking on both Swim School classes as well as Baby and Toddler. With her primary teaching background Carlie has proven to have a lovely manner with the children and aims to get the best out of them.
Carlie has two lovely daughters who both swim with us.
